Technology to Fuel a Green Recovery from Lockdown – Introduced by Matthew Stone, Renovare Fuels Chairman The world was recently reeling from the COVID-19 pandemic and the necessary measures that have been put in place. Lockdown has had a huge impact on society and the economy, with many businesses having to temporarily close or drastically restructure working practices to stay afloat. However, one unforeseen beneficiary of the pandemic has been the environment. With restrictions on travel and minimal commuting, carbon emissions in 2020 have been reduced to levels that are significantly lower than the same period in 2019.
